THE PROBLEM WITH RETAIL FOREX

Trading Is Hazardous to Your Wealth

In the trading world, it sounds like a broken record to assert that 90% of retail FX traders ("dumb money") lose their money in trading. Almost all trading educators will use this cliché in their sales pitch to sell you "trading education".

Yet very few of these trading educators have taken the effort to properly verify this statement, check its origins or provide credible sources. Worse in fact. Most of these educators are themselves partly the cause of this frightening percentage of failed traders.

The real percentage of failing traders is actually much closer to 99% and we present ample evidence and multiple third party academical proof for it in some of our educational and informational videos.

Despite this atrocious number, thousands of people, twitter gurus and websites claim to be "professional" FX traders, "FX trading educators" with x years of " combined experience", selling their "trading wisdom". There are hundreds of "online FX trading rooms", "FX Forums" and self-proclaimed mentors. All of them are repeating the same mantras, the same trading wisdom quotes and recommending the same books that we have to read. Are they all part of the 1% winners and therefore well placed to teach you?

Of course not!

Most, if not all of these educators lack properly documented "professional" experience or credentials. Almost all of them lack a verified long term track record. Or they provide shady and questionable proof.

Many of them show their trading "prowess" on worthless demo accounts. Some have blown up their real money accounts (which were quickly removed from the web). All of them are recycling the same worthless knowledge and technical analysis teachings that they found on the web and are merely repackaging and redistributing it under their own name.

Something is clearly wrong in all this!

The painful truth is that most of these "teachers", trading rooms and "furu´s" belong themselves to the 99% LOSERS group in desperate need to earn a living when trading does not do it for them. Or they are just shrewd marketers -not traders- tapping into the lucrative trading education industry. So, the essential point being here that LOSERS ARE TEACHING OTHERS HOW TO LOSE.

None of these teachers teach you the most important traits of the FX trading arena, because they don´t know these traits. And if they do, they would prefer not to talk about it because it would highlight their poor qualification to teach the subject.

Some will try to convince you that they have the secret key or secret sauce to trading success. Obviously, there is no holy grail, no secret Da Vinci Code or magic chart indicator to be found in FX.

But if there is anything that comes close, it is understanding that forex trading is not just a zero-sum game but a NEGATIVE SUM GAME.

Understanding this has devastating consequences and requires a very specific, completely different and truly professional, advanced approach!

THE SOLUTION: ADVANCED FOREX

FX being a negative sum game implies that FX trading is a brutal competition, pure and simple. Only the well-informed, skilled and proficient will survive in this competition. In all our products and services we will explain the many disciplines and knowledge snippets that need to be understood and mastered in order to be able to properly compete.

In other words, SMART MONEY TAKES FROM THE DUMB MONEY in the tug-of-war for profits. Therefore, it is in the interest of the smart guys AND the industry (... !! notice how many broking house spend fortunes on advertising and sponsoring some of the world´s top football teams, F1 teams etc) to attract as much dumb money to participate in the forex trading game and keep them there as long as possible!! The fake narrative serves a huge purpose and will not be contested. Just think about the consequences of this! We will address it throughout all our services, podcasts and live comments.

Given the above, understanding all implications and consequences of operating in a negative sum game is the ONLY road to success.

You must therefore also realize this: no successful trader (or teacher) with a truly valuable edge will ever reveal or share his/her edge, as this would immediately dilute and destroy this edge/ his livelihood. No smart trader will give away his hard-earned advantage (edge) in an online trading room to his trading buddies.

That is the very reason why Renaissance Technologies´ Medallion Fund (daytraders !), the most consistent and profitable hedge fund EVER, employing hundreds of the smartest PhD quants, is a closed fund and extremely secretive about their workings and edge. Jim Simons himself once revealed that his fund takes its profits from the daytraders, i.e. from the vast majority of retail day traders.

Sadly, all this also means that almost everything you are being told and taught by the vast majority of retail trading educators ....... is worthless garbage and will simply put you on the wrong foot. Don´t get us wrong, many teachers are not intentionally or maliciously putting you on the wrong foot. They simply don´t know any better. They don´t know that they don´t know and that we know that they don´t know... ;-)

But their fake narrative works of course in favor of the smart money, as already pointed out.

THEREFORE, ADVANCED FOREX...

... means first and foremost to aspire to become part of the smart money!! It means understanding that we have to approach the market differently (almost OPPOSITE to) from what the vast majority of trading educators teach and retail traders practice.

We have to move away from all the toxicity of the retail market, move away from fake "professionalism", the fake narrative, the losers, ego-trippers, gamblers, liars, conmen and frauds. Move away from the noise, the hype at all costs. We are even very skeptical about the value of technical analysis and barely use it. You have to be your own man/woman and find what works for you.

Advanced forex means that we focus only on what REALLY matters in trading: BECOMING TRULY PROFICIENT. Realism. Real actionable knowledge. Get tangible results. Consistency. Survival. We will highlight in detail what destroys every retail trader sooner or later and what is never ever mentioned in any trading course on the market.

We need to employ trading techniques and strategies adapted to the retail trader´s weaker position. And we need to work on our psychology: getting our mind ready for trading.
